Common Work Tracker

Helping organizations coordinate work that no single organization can accomplish alone.

Coalitions and collective-impact efforts depend on many organizations contributing toward outcomes that none can achieve independently. The work becomes difficult when commitments, measures, updates, and decisions are distributed across meetings, spreadsheets, reports, and separate institutions.

Common Work Tracker creates a shared place for making that work more visible.

Shared purpose does not automatically create coordination.

Organizations may agree on an outcome while differing in their roles, timelines, language, and ways of measuring progress. As the number of participants grows, it becomes harder to see who has committed to what, where work is moving, and where attention is needed. The resulting problem is not simply project management; it is the challenge of maintaining coherence across organizations that remain independent while contributing to something shared.

Visibility supports coordination and accountability.

Common Work Tracker helps coalitions, backbone organizations, and cross-sector partnerships organize commitments, monitor shared measures, record progress, and communicate across the larger effort. The platform is not designed to replace the relationships on which collective work depends. It can reduce the friction created when important information is scattered and the work is difficult to see.
